The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions into the community.

SASSA might be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency claimed it is alarmed in regards to the superior number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a higher quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This sassa status check is certainly due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The assistance position designed sassa status check for intervention encounters a higher influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it tricky to the office to attend to all people who go to a sassa status check service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to empower the servicing of all buyers and boost access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
